Why Join Slush as an Investor
Helsinki is pretty dreary in late November, but for two days, the darkness becomes host to more VCs than any other gathering in the world.
On November 17-18, Slush 2022 will bring together the best European founders and 2,200 investors managing a total of close to €1 trillion in assets from across the globe. But what makes investors join us every year? Why should you come?
1. Source the best in European tech
At Slush, you’ll find 4,200 of Europe’s most promising founders and operators. Through our Matchmaking Tool, you’ll get access to over 40 data points, such as industry, stage & growth, on each participating startup to schedule in-person meetings with. Last year, we hosted over 10,000 pre-scheduled meetings in our 180-table Meeting Area. Since the inception of Slush back in 2011 – hundreds of successful deals have been closed or initiated during the event with more to come! Here’s to mention a few:
IVP led a $40M series B round in Aiven at Slush 2019
Cherry led a $6M round in Carbo Culture’s at Slush 2019
Lakestar led a $100M round in 1047 Games at Slush 2019
Earlybird led a series A round in Aiven after meeting at Slush in 2018

2. All your investor peers under one roof
Prior to the main event, we’ve got Investor Day (Nov 16), which gathers all of your investor peers from around the world to kick off the Slush days. Regardless of whether you are looking to meet angels, seed stage or later stage investors, Investor Day is the place to be! You’ll have plenty of networking settings to choose from, such as peer-to-peer roundtables, VC-hosted dinners, and venture focused stage conversations.

“It takes 20h to get here from San Francisco, but it’s absolutely worth it.” – Rich Wong, Accel
