TIMOTHY BOULEY

FORMER CLIMATE CHANGE AND HEALTH PROGRAM LEAD AT THE WORLD BANK

Timothy founded and led the climate change and health program at the World Bank, mobilizing more than $1bn in investment toward climate-sensitive health systems. He was also an originating member of the Global Partnership for Oceans and World Bank team addressing One Health, Planetary Health, and shared threats to humans, animals, and the environment. Trained as a medical doctor and environmental scientist, he has previously held positions with the US National Academy of Sciences, the World Health Organization, and the University of California, San Francisco. He holds degrees in biology, bioethics, geography, and medicine from Tufts, Harvard, Oxford, and Duke. Currently, he is based in Paris where he is working to develop ocean-based biotechnologies to improve human health and the environment.
