Thomas Plantenga

Vinted’s CEO Thomas Plantenga was born and raised in the Netherlands. In 2016, Thomas flew from New York to Vilnius to share his knowledge with the Vinted team. He planned to stay for 5 weeks but never flew back to New York and instead helped Vinted through a successful transformation. Over the past 7 years, Thomas has lived in: Amsterdam, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Nairobi, Cabarete, Barcelona and New York. Now, as CEO at Vinted, he splits his time between the headquarters in Vilnius and the office in Berlin, helping to make Vinted a global success and second-hand fashion the first choice worldwide.
