Steven Jacobs
Steve is Venture Partner and CPO at Lakestar focused on sourcing deep tech investments and providing support to portfolio founders and CPOs.
Before Lakestar, Steve spent over a decade leading product teams at Apple, Google, Facebook, and HP. He helped launch the following first generation products: iPhone, Beats by Dre Headphones, HP Spectre, Pixelbook, Fitbit, GoPro, Portal TV, and Nest Thermostat.
Steve was also the Founder and CEO of Olio Devices, an early leader in the smartwatch space which he later sold to Flex (NASDAQ: FLEX). Post-acquisition, he became the GM of Flex’s Wearable Technology Group.
Steve has a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University where he currently guest lectures and a dual BSc in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
