Shoshana Berger is editorial director at IDEO, a global design company. She overseas publishing with a focus on immersive digital stories and helps lead IDEO’s work in bringing design to the end of life experience. Before joining IDEO, Shoshana was a Senior Editor at WIRED and the founder of WIRED Design. She cofounded and edited the national do-it-yourself design magazine ReadyMade, which was a finalist for National Magazine Awards in 2005 and 2006 and was acquired by Meredith Corp. in 2006. Shoshana has written for: The New York Times, Travel + Leisure, WIRED, Sunset, Marie Claire, Amazon, Budget Travel, Popular Science, SPIN, Salon, and many other publications. She’s the coauthor ofReadyMade: How to Make Almost Everything (Shoshana Berger and Grace Hawthorne, Crown, 2005) and is at work on a book with Dr. BJ Miller, How to Die: A Field Guide (Simon & Schuster).
