Shalini Rao is Partner at Generation Investment Management where she focuses on software, fintech and consumer internet companies. She has been involved with Generation’s investments in companies including Back Market, Vestiaire Collective, Gusto, Guideline, Gloat, Andela, Asana (NYSE:ASAN), and Toast (NYSE:TOST).
Prior to Generation, Shalini held roles at JPMorgan and Shearman & Sterling. Shalini is from Newfoundland, Canada and is now based in San Francisco, having spent the past decade in Europe.
She holds a BA from Harvard University and an MSc Finance from the London School of Economics.
