Rachael Palmer
Rachael Palmer is Head of VC and Startup Partnerships at Google. Rachael drives Google’s strategic partnerships with top VCs and Startups across the Europe Middle East and Africa region. Her day-to-day work involves collaborating with EMEA’s major VC funds, working to define Google’s VC strategy, and helping startups partner across Google’s product areas. She also leads key strategic initiatives for Google including its Black Founders Fund in the region which is now in its second year.
Prior to Google, Rachael consulted to numerous startups and led marketing and business development efforts for EY’s world famous Entrepreneur of the Year Program. Rachael also held positions at American Express where she served as the product manager for its Business Gold Rewards card and at Microsoft where she held a variety of marketing and business development roles.
Currently, Rachael also serves on the board for the Baillie Gifford US Growth Trust (LON: USA) and as an Advisor for Soho House (NYSE: MCG). She received her MBA from The Wharton School with a dual concentration in Strategic Management and Marketing and her BSE in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania accompanied by minors in mathematics, psychology and economics.
