Pauliina is Investment Director at Maki.vc. She works with deeptech and brand-driven technology companies at pre-seed, seed and Series A stages across Europe. From packaged goods to mobile applications and science-based software, from health to food and sustainable fashion, her investments have covered a range of categories. Pauliina is passionate about companies that leverage digital technologies and direct-to-consumer marketing techniques to redefine industries.
Before joining Maki.vc, Pauliina co-founded Wave Ventures, a pre-seed VC fund investing across the Nordics.
Pauliina holds an MSc and CEMS MIM from Aalto University School of Business and HEC Paris, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Helsinki.
