Marie Ekeland

Marie is Founder of 2050. She is a venture capitalist and serves on the boards of Butterfly, Holberton School, INRIA Foundation, Keakr, Lifen, Shine (sold to Societe Generale), Swile, Withings, and Zoe, and was an early investor in Criteo (NSDQ:CRTO).

Previously she co-founded Daphni, and was a partner at Elaia Partners. Marie also co-founded and co-headed France Digitale, the first startup/VC association in France, and was also a member and shortly President of the French Digital Council (CNNum). Marie began her career in 1997 as a full-stack developer at JP Morgan in New York.

Marie holds an engineering degree in mathematics and computer science from Paris Dauphine University and a master’s degree in economics from Paris School of Economics.
