Joy Tuffield
Joy Tuffield is Partner at Generation Investment Management, a pure-play sustainable investment manager. Joy is a member of the Growth Equity strategy, which invests $50m-$150m as active minority investors in high-growth companies that are scaling sustainable solutions. The firm has partnered with companies such as Asana, Back Market, Benevity, Convoy, Gusto, Pivot Bio and Toast, amongst others.
Joy joined Generation in 2013.
Previously, Joy worked in the investment banking division of Jefferies International and in the Energy, Environment, and Resources department of Chatham House (The Royal Institute of International Affairs). Joy received a master’s degree in Physics and Philosophy from Oxford University. Joy serves on the board of Convoy, o9 Solutions, and project44, and is fluent in Farsi.
