Jay Kreps

Co-founder and CEO, Confluent

Jay Kreps is a co-founder of Confluent and has served as CEO since its founding in September 2014. Prior to founding Confluent, Jay spent seven years at LinkedIn, where he was one of the original creators of Apache Kafka and served as an engineer, engineering manager, and software architect from 2009 to 2014.

He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz.
