Jan Hammer

Jan focuses primarily on financial information and data services startups, investing across all stages from seed to venture to growth. He led Index investments in Adyen, Alan, Collibra, Robinhood, SafetyCulture and TransferWise.

Prior to joining Index, Jan worked at General Atlantic in London. He started his career at Morgan Stanley in M&A and capital markets. Jan holds an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, and is a graduate of Oxford University.

According to Forbes Midas List, the annual ranking of venture investors, Jan is the top-ranked investor in Europe.
