Jacob de Geer
Jacob de Geer is a serial entrepreneur. Recognized as one of the most influential leaders in fintech, Jacob de Geer is co-founder and CEO of iZettle, a business headquartered in Sweden and named by The Financial Times as one of Europe’s most innovative and fastest growing companies. Under Jacob’s leadership, iZettle’s commerce platform has expanded into 12 markets in Europe and Latin America with more than 1000 new small businesses signing up to access iZettle’s financial and commercial tools each day. In May 2018, iZettle was acquired by PayPal for $2,2 billion, giving it access to millions of merchant relationships all around the world.
Jacob cut his teeth at performance marketing firm TradeDoubler. He was the first employee and helped to grow the advertising network to become one of the largest in Europe before its listing on the Swedish stock exchange in 2005. Jacob holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics.
