Hanno Renner is co-founder and CEO of Personio, Europe’s leading HR software company for small and mid-sized businesses. More than 5,000 customers digitise and automate their people processes with the help of Personio, using software that is tailored specifically to the needs of SMEs, the backbone of the European economy.Co-founded by four friends out of university in 2015, Personio now has a team of more than 1,000 people across five European offices and ranks among Europe’s most valuable tech startups with its latest valuation at $6.3B.
Prior to co-founding Personio, Hanno studied in Munich, Auckland and New York and worked as a skipper on sailing yachts. He was featured on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in 2020.
