Elizabeth Rossiello
Elizabeth Rossiello is Founder and CEO of global fintech AZA Finance (previously BitPesa), accelerating economic growth in Africa through its best-in-class foreign exchange, payments, settlement and treasury services. She founded the company in Nairobi, Kenya, to bring digital currencies to the African market, having now executed more than £200 billion in global transactions.
Elizabeth is committed to expanding access to financial technologies. She co-chairs the World Economic Forum’s Council on Blockchain in addition to sitting on the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution’s Global Advisory Board.
Elizabeth was recently named as a 2021 Bloomberg New Economy Catalyst. She holds an M.A. in International Business and Finance from Columbia University.
