Ekaterina Malievskaia
Ekaterina is Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer of COMPASS Pathways, a mental health care company dedicated to accelerating patient access to evidence-based innovation in mental health.
Ekaterina founded COMPASS Pathways with her husband George Goldsmith in 2016, after having experienced first-hand the challenges in accessing evidence-based and effective mental health care for a family member. The first major initiative of COMPASS Pathways is to develop psilocybin therapy through late-stage clinical trials in Europe and North America for people with treatment-resistant depression.
Ekaterina completed her medical training in St. Petersburg, Russia before moving to the USA, where she worked in private practice, academic medicine and public health for 15 years.
