David Nutt
David Nutt is an academic psychiatrist and professor at Imperial College London where he has helped pioneer the current scientific renaissance of psychedelic drugs.
He led the team that re-energised the field by conducting the first modern imaging studies with psilocybin, LSD and DMT. These informed and led onto the groundbreaking clinical trials such as psilocybin for treatment resistant depression, psilocybin versus escitalopram for depression and now psilocybin for anorexia nervosa.
