Danae Ringelmann is co-founder and Chief Development Officer at Indiegogo, the world’s first crowdfunding platform with the mission to make entrepreneurship accessible to all. Today, Danae leads Indiegogo’s industry development efforts, while steering the company’s employee culture and values initiatives.
Danae was selected by World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader, and was listed in Fast Company’s “Top 50 Women Innovators in Technology,” Fortune’s “40 Under 40” and ELLE Magazine’s “Top Women in Tech”. She has spoken at many major conferences including Web Summit, TEDx, Le Web and SXSW. Danae also testified for the U.S. House Small Business Subcommittee on Investigations, Oversight and Regulations on “Financing America’s Small Businesses: Innovative Ideas for Raising Capital.”
Danae is a CFA charter holder and graduated with an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and B.A. in Humanities from UNC-Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead Scholar and varsity rower.
