Daisy Onubogu
Daisy is Head of Network at Backed VC. She leads on growing and managing the network of humans that support Backed in sourcing deal flow, delivering portfolio support and building brands. Daisy is also responsible for Backed’s diversity and inclusion initiatives on the investment side.
Separately, Daisy is COO at Diversity VC, a non-profit working to advance diversity and inclusion in the industry. Besides venture, Daisy is an Advisor at Roam, Emerge, and a board director of Afghan charity, Future Brilliance. Previously, Daisy was responsible for curating main stage speakers for Web Summit and its sister conferences.
Daisy has previously been a lawyer and Co-founder of Refugee Info Network. Daisy likes to travel and is a fan of pies, medium sarcasm, social justice, and facilitating connections to make things happen.
