Cordel Robbin-Coker
Cordel Robbin-Coker is Co-Founder and CEO of Carry1st, the leading mobile games publisher and digital commerce platform for Africa. Prior to founding Carry1st, Cordel spent over a decade in private equity and investment banking with The Carlyle Group and Morgan Stanley, across the US, Europe, and Africa.
He most recently served as VP in the $700 million Carlyle Sub-Saharan Africa fund and previously as aide to Carlyle executives Bill Conway and Ed Mathias. Cordel serves as Director and Treasurer of the Milton Hershey School, and the Hershey Trust Company which manages its ~$20 billion endowment.
Cordel is a Venture Scout for Andreessen Horowitz, Venture Partner for Adaverse, and Venture Partner for The Raba Partnership.
He is a graduate of Stanford University and a native of Sierra Leone.
