The evening ahead of us is an opportunity to mingle and create valuable connections, as well as learn from those who have built long-term working relationships together with startups and corporates. Representatives from big Nordic corporations, the most successful industrial startups, and the Nordic startup community are all on their way, so you can be assured there will be a wealth of topics to discuss.
The program is first going to dig into startup-corporate collaboration from the founders’ point of view. After that, a panel discussion where the topic of what different stakeholders can do to promote startup-corporate collaboration. But let’s talk about who we’ve invited to speak and why:
Anniek Shouten, Co-founder at 20tree.ai
Anniek is a go-to name in AI. Her startup combines it with satellite imagery to create forest intelligence. The platform helps companies in the forestry and timber industries, along with NGOs, to improve forest management. Not only does Anniek have hands-on experience in industrial collaborations, but she has a fresh example of it too. She will share their story and tell how the collaboration with Finnish forestry giant Stora Enso as part of the Combient Foundry Venture Client Cycle fuels 20tree.ai‘s growth.
Adam Phillips, VP of Business Development at Sixgill
Adam has experienced both sides of the equation. Integrally involved in the rapid, successful growth of multiple startups, he has also held leadership positions in large companies. He currently as the Vice President of Business Development for Sixgill, a universal sensor data platform provider for easy, fast and flexible application development. Also from the Combient Foundry’s Client Venture Cycle, Adam is coming to share a concrete example of a smart construction pilot project with Finnish machinery manufacturer KONE.
Joining our main lineup on stage are Christoffer Norman, Investment Manager at Northzone, Ann-Kristin Adolfsson, Head of Saab Ventures, and Ted Persson, Operating Partner at EQT Ventures. The evening will be moderated by Amira El-Bidawi, Business Development Manager at Vattenfall.
