Health and wellness domain is currently gaining momentum and is becoming one of the most exciting markets of the digital age. The aging of the population, the fitness craze and quantified self movement drive demand for innovative solutions while advances in technology make them possible. A lot of startups emerge in the region to address health issues – around 100 companies of the industry have registered to attend Slush.
That’s why this year Slush has the Health and Wellness Track that takes place on the Green Stage on Thursday, the 14th of November, and brings together innovators and disruptors of the health and wellness industry. Here you can meet those who drive innovation, listen to what they have learnt along the way and share the latest industry gossip.
The track is hosted by Christian Lindholm, CEO of the wearables start-up Koru and HealthSPA cluster co-founder. The speakers will highlight a wide range of topics and here are just a few examples:
Mikko Moilanen, President of Suunto, will open the track to share his learnings from functional lifestyle products that Suunto has pioneered in sports instruments, watches and wearables market.
Francesco De Rubertis, Partner at Index Ventures with a PhD in Molecular Biology, will share his take on key future trends in health technology.
