Arone uses drones in Africa with the goal of solving the problem of lack of accessibility to medical supplies. The drones are delivered to blood bank stations and medical supplies-central storage locations. On request, the drones deliver blood units and other vital medical supplies such as vaccines, medicines and more to surrounding hospitals and rural clinics.
Labbox is an extracurricular school system that encourages young people to study STEM through an applied environment. Students are provided with kits with electronics blocks that teaches electronics and coding. The learning process is conducted through a practical approach and the stories are told through comic books rather than books that could be deemed as too serious by students.
Microtech Interactive is an edtech company that uses the power of AR to impact the education sector to pre-primary age groups. They offer a free app which doesn’t require internet connectivity once it’s downloaded: with 70 % of Bangladeshi population having a smartphone, they’re capable of reaching their primary audiences pretty efficiently. Additionally, Microtech Interactive also organizes labs for students to interact and experiment with AR.
