Our vision for the future is to scale recruiting to the same extent as our startup-investor Matchmaking is today. Already this year, we’ll grow the Recruiting Area to a Recruiting Day and introduce a tool that helps match the best talent with the hottest startups and arrange the first job interviews at Slush.
On the second day of Slush, we welcome job seekers, companies hunting for the right talent and people who seek advice regarding rapid and efficient recruiting to our Recruiting Day. Recruiting Day is held inside the Engine Room and is open for all Slush Pass holders.
There will be over 20 company booths in the area with both talent-seeking firms and recruiting service providers. You can meet representatives from companies such as Sanoma, Qvik, Hyperledger, Smartly, Elisa, RDVelho, Netlight, Hatch Entertainment, Relex, Rakettitiede, Me2We, Midaxo and Duunitori. We are also soon launching our event hacking guide How to Hack Slush where aTalent Recruiting and Finland Relocation Services give their insights into successful recruiting.
During Recruiting Day the stage program in the Engine Room will be heavily developer-focused and full of interesting talks. Discussion topics range from IoT to artificial intelligence and VR/AR – so there’s definitely a reason to drop by just for the talks too!
Slush Jobs is already a familiar service from previous years. It is a site where companies coming to Slush can list their open positions. Everyone is eligible to apply for the positions – you don’t have to have a ticket to Slush. So talent seekers list your open positions and job seekers sharpen your CVs!
This year we introduce something completely new to this platform too. We have now included a lightweight tool to Slush Jobs for arranging quick job interviews at Slush. In this case the candidate must have a Slush Pass as the interviews will take place on the second day of Slush. Interviews are held at the Roundtable Area between 8 am and 12 pm.
