The GP Summit-concept was launched in 2018 to address the increasing demand for more focused, exclusive gatherings for VC partners and decision-makers to meet and socialize in a relaxed and private setting. The event will be held prior to Investor Day on Nov 20 - starting at 11 AM, with lunch being served at 1 PM.

The GP summit concept was very popular last year since it brought together a targeted part of the Slush core audience in a relaxed setting ahead of the buzz that is Investor Day. This year we aim to emulate last years success by keeping the content restricted to an opening speech by Silicon Valley Bank, followed by some casual mingling ahead of the lunch at 1 PM. The event will bring together General Partners from the 40 most prominent VC firms attending Slush. Attendance is restricted to one partner per firm to ensure the best possible exposure.
What’s new then?
What’s new for this year is that we’re integrating a new group of Venture Capitalists into the mix for the lunch session at 1 PM, i.e., the Next Gens. They are the up-and-comers within VC – the Associates and the Principals who represent some of the most interesting firms in the industry. New crowd, new venue but the same old Slush vibe!
