Not the Californian sun, but
Slush has grown from a 300-person assembly to a community of true global magnitude. The mission of Slush remains the same: to create and help the next generation of groundbreaking entrepreneurs.Next events
Slush is a student-driven, not-for-profit movement originally founded to change attitudes toward entrepreneurship.
Slush has grown from a single gathering in Helsinki to a series of events organized all around the world. We throw bigger events in Finland, and China, and smaller get-togethers around the globe, from Singapore to NYC. Wherever they happen, our events aim at equipping founders to solve the most meaningful problems of our time.
Slush is built to be a vehicle for change.
Around the world, movements that want to drive entrepreneurship and empower the upcoming generation can start under the Slush name. Currently, Slush events and communities have been started, in addition to Helsinki and Shanghai, in Tokyo, Singapore, London, Berlin, Stockholm, Paris, New York, Trondheim, and more than 40 other cities.
“WELCOME TO THE COOLEST TECH CONFERENCE ON THE PLANET.”
The values of Slush drive us to take ownership of the future we want to see.
We are always learning and growing, never complete.
We take responsibility for the change we want to see. We base our decisions on ecological and social sustainability.
We don’t take ourselves too seriously. We would be nothing without our community, and wish to give back as often and as much as we can.
We believe that the best teams are built around trust and accountability.
We have the courage to do bold things that other people wouldn’t even dream of doing – and then help others do it as well.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL WELL-BEING.
DIVERSITY, ACCESSIBILITY, AND INCLUSION.
We believe that Slush and entrepreneurship belong to everyone. Period.
It is in our DNA to strive towards diversity and an inclusive culture in our organization, whether that is in recruiting, choosing speakers, or in attracting attendees to our events. The Slush community should feel like a welcome and safe environment for anyone, and we work to consistently evaluate our operations and choices to ensure this is the reality. Our shared Code of Conduct applies to anyone working with or within our organization or attending our events.
In practical terms, we want to make Slush accessible to everyone, and our venues and events are designed with accessibility in mind. We also welcome children and anyone under the age of 18 at Slush Helsinki during the daytime events.
