The Slush pitching competitions are the core of the event. That’s where you find the startup community’s most enthusiastic and promising businesses. This year’s Slush has two competitions: Pitching Competition for 100 early-stage companies and Slush Demo Showcase for 20 companies that have already developed their products. The jury of the experienced entrepreneurs and investors has selected the startups that will continue to participate in the next round of both competitions.

The competition was very fierce today. But it is going to get even more intense tomorrow. Only the four best startups will move on to the finals of the pitching competition, and two finalists of Slush Showcase Demo will compete for the for the top spot of Slush 2013 on the Blue stage.
