There is an abundance of young, potential speakers waiting to be found – Talk The Talk proved it last year. Eleven talents with their four-minute keynote speeches attracted hundreds of listeners and thousands of live stream viewers to follow the final event. This year, TTT is breaking the stereotypes of speaking even bigger.
Talk The Talk brings together the next generation of speakers. We want to speed up the process of getting those unheard stories out. To make that happen, Slush organizes an annual training program to find and coach new speaker talents – from Finland for starters. Among the applicants, we will choose ten talents to learn the secrets of performing under the guidance of today’s top performers.
During eight weeks of training, the talents will work on their presentation about a free-to-choose topic. Their coaches are top-notch professionals varying from singers and songwriters to actors, tv-hosts and improvisers: Elastinen, Saara Aalto, Tuomas Enbuske, Krista Kosonen, Roope Salminen, Riku Rantala, Elina Aalto and Elsa Ervasti. On November 8, talents are ready to shine at the final event, and after that host stages of Slush 2017 – in front of 17,500 people!
After the program, all talents will become a part of the TTT community. The real experience follows with all the speaking and performing possibilities enabled by the network. There’s always someone who needs an energetic host, a passionate storyteller or a motivating speaker for their event or project. By 2020, Talk The Talk aims to be the Nordic’s biggest community for young, promising speakers.
The application period is now open. All you need is a topic you’re passionate about and sincere willingness to learn the art of speaking. You can apply by filming a 1-minute video of you, speaking about your topic.
